Scottsdale moving forward with bond projects for sports courts, 911 upgrades

The Scottsdale City Council is slated to approve two outlays from the $319 million bond program approved by city voters in November.

The Scottsdale Council will vote today on approving a $5 million contract for Elite Sports Builders LLC to resurface and install news sports courts at city parks including tennis courts at Indian School Park and the Scottsdale Ranch Park Tennis Center.

The council will also vote on setting up a $591,196 budget and program to modernize the city’s 911 emergency system.

Scottsdale voters approved three bond measures in November funding infrastructure investments including parking and pedestrian upgrades in Old Town Scottsdale, finishing repairs and upgrades at Civic Center Plaza and dam repairs at Vista Del Camino Park.
