A different kind of shopping begins here

Stores across Scottsdale may be open for customers’ visits, but the shopping experience is far from what it used to be.

Take, for instance, KidStop Specialty Toys & Books in northern Scottsdale, where owner Kate Tanner would watch families meander the aisles with kids trying out and playing with the toys.

“Our biggest obstacle will be not having all of our demos of toys and play areas out for all the littles to come and have fun with,” Tanner said.
