The city of Goodyear is reopening its community pool and skate park next Saturday and will reopen City Council and Planning and Zoning meeting to the public in June as part of the next steps of its COVID-19 reopening plans.

City officials announced the next phase of Goodyear’s reopening on Friday. A splash pad for kids will also reopen May 23. There will be social distancing protocols in place for all the reopened venues and meetings.

The first Goodyear City Council that will be open to the public will be on June 8th. The first open Planning and Zoning meeting will be on June 10th.

Like other cities and counties across Arizona and the country, Goodyear has been holding public meetings virtually.
