New 55+ housing proposed in Scottsdale

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

A Colorado company is proposing a 55+ community with 102 residential units in North Scottsdale.

The development is not a traditional assisted living facility but offers health and wellness amenities and food services to senior residents.

55 Resort LLC of Denver has proposed the new development on 3.16 acres at 90th Street and San Victor. The property is currently a mostly vacant commercial building. It will be demolished under development plans filed with the city of Scottsdale.

55 Resort has developed similar 55+ communities in its home state of Colorado.

The company has submitted plans for site plan and other approval with Scottsdale for a three-story, 152,300-square-foot project.
