Rose Law Group’s New Economy (Virtual) Power Lunch…Season 1 Episode 7

Today, Rose Law Group hosted the seventh episode of The New Economy (Virtual) Power Lunch. RLG Founder and President Jordan Rose and RLG Co-Founder and Partner Court Rich  engaged in a thought-provoking discussion about COVID-19 and how it’s impacting several different industries, including real estate development, auto dealership development, and education. The legendary David Larcher, the President of Phoenix-based shopping center developer Vestar was on to give us the update on development in the state. Larcher has been responsible for the most dynamic and popular retail projects in the southwest and is in charge of Vestar’s acquisition, development and operational activities. Peter Bezanson, the CEO of BASIS Educational Ventures – gave us the latest on education. BASIS.ed is the best public high school in the United States. The eight Arizona BASIS schools were ranked as numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, and 9 in the U.S. according to the US News and World Report in 2019. Auto dealership developer extraordinaire, Jim Mullin (Mullin360Development), developing 1,200 dealership sites in US over 30 years including 46% of all auto malls in Maricopa County spoke about all things car sales/sales tax and his experience actually thriving in several recessions. Rose Law Group Attorney Tom Galvin was also on the panel to discuss the Governor’s latest executive order and when our state will open for business.
