Today, Rose Law Group hosted the eighth episode of The New Economy (Virtual) Power Lunch. RLG Founder and President Jordan Rose and RLG Co-Founder and Partner Court Rich engaged in a thought-provoking discussion about COVID-19 and how it’s impacting several different industries, including commercial real estate, homebuilding, health safety certification and more! First on the panel was the owner of one of the state’s largest privately held commercial real estate companies, Michael Pollack, President and CEO of Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments. Michael has owned over 11 million square feet of retail projects with a value well in excess of one billion dollars. When you drive by a strip retail shopping center, it has at least a 75% (?!) chance of being owned by Michael. Michael is a business leader and an incredibly charitable community member. To add to this all-star line-up we had Alan Jones, the Division President of Lennar – the nation’s largest homebuilder (building new homes in 21 states in more than 77 popular real estate markets across the country). Jones has been division president of Lennar for over 20 years and when he speaks the country listens. As if they weren’t enough, Dr. Ana Moran, Clinical Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases at Barrow Neurological Institute, Director of Infection Control Program at Select Specialty Hospital in Phoenix, and Medical Director at HealthyVerify Certification (www.healthyverify.com a company that is focused on getting America back to work) also joined us. Dr. Moran led the HealthyVerify team which helped Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona open with well thought out procedures during this pandemic. She was responsible for rolling out infection control procedures that were applied by Goodwill and later allowed them to pass inspection to open. Finally, Rose Law Group partner and Director of Transactional Department, Cameron Carter, spoke about the latest legal developments on the State and Federal level that help/hinder the re-opening and deal making efforts
