Blaming Covid-19, more Phoenix landlords fall behind on the mortgage payments

While the entirety of the pain Covid-19 has inflicted on the economy is hard to fully see, the trouble experienced by the owners of the Valley’s retail centers, plazas and strip malls shows it is far from over.

According to new data, dozens of Valley landlords are either behind on their loan payments or in a situation that has banks worried about their ability to make payments on time.
