COOLIDGE — Some good news and some bad news was delivered during the Coolidge City Council preliminary budget meeting on Tuesday.
The bad news was that as a result of the ongoing pandemic and the statewide stay-at-home order, which lasted from the latter part of March and the entirety of April, Coolidge will likely see a dip in Arizona State Shared Revenue funds in the 2020-21 fiscal year.
Across the board, state-shared revenues in the upcoming fiscal year will likely be down between 20% and 30%, Finance Director Gabe Garcia said.
