Rezoning OK’d for homes in STV

FLORENCE — A new 397-home subdivision is planned in northern Pinal County.

The Board of Supervisors has approved rezoning and related requests for Bella Vista Trails on just under 82 acres southwest of Rittenhouse and Bella Vista roads in San Tan Valley.

Supervisor Mike Goodman, R-San Tan Valley, asked where the wastewater will be going. Deputy County Manager Himanshu Patel said it’s in the service area of the Section 11 sewer plant, which has had problems, but a lift station improvement will send some flow to San Tan Heights. He said water and sewer capacity will be determined if the project proceeds to the platting stage.
