Scottsdale candidates weigh in on GP

Scottsdale is in the midst of updating its General Plan, a process that could see the City Council put a new plan before voters in 2021.

The city has not adopted and received voter approval of a new plan in nearly 20 years, despite a state law requiring new adoption or reapproval every 10 years.

The plan is the overarching document guiding the long-term growth of a city.
