Q: Has anyone ever gotten naked during a showing?

Susan: My husband and I were representing the sellers of an absolutely gorgeous Central Park West apartment. We met the couple—an older couple nearing retirement age—and everything was great. The first week, my husband goes to show the apartment and in the middle of the showing the woman comes out of the bedroom into the living room with her robe flying open. She was naked.

Michael: She just walked out of the room with a bra in her hand. She acted like she didn’t think I was going to be there, but she knew I was because I had spoken to her before the showing. I was showing the apartment to a couple. The three of us went wide-eyed and I said, “I think we should reschedule.”

Susan: We called the husband and said, “I know it can be inconvenient, but typically with sellers we prefer you are not present in the apartment.” I don’t think we went into the details of what happened.
