Gilbert surveying parking needs in Heritage District

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The town of Gilbert is seeking input from residents, visitors and businesses on current and future parking needs in the popular Heritage District.

The town is conducting an online survey on parking in the area which is home to popular restaurants.

The survey gauges the parking priorities of those who visit, live and work in the Heritage area on Gilbert Road north of Elliot Road.

Some of the questions center around if there is any appetite for paid parking in the area. Public parking in the area is free. Gilbert has built parking garages to help keep up with demand. There are also plans for another parking structure as part of a planned mixed-use development.

Popular restaurants such as Culinary Dropout, Barrio Queen, Postino, Snooze, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row and OHSO Brewery are all located in the Heritage area.

You can take the survey here through August 14th at: https://t.co/Ok1SOfqPlf?amp=1.
