Pandemic brings disruption to the Valley real estate market

By the middle of May, after already having his staff work from home for about six weeks, Brett Farmiloe made the decision to close his Scottsdale office and put it up for sublease.

“We have 15 employees in about 2,000 square feet of space, and we made the decision for safety and savings,” said Farmiloe, founder and CEO of Markitors, a digital marketing firm. He said the space was already “maxed out” with trying to fit in as many employees as possible.
