Tempe-based firm wins contract for Peoria water plant design

As growth and development has continued in north Peoria, the need for more water infrastructure has also increased.

The Peoria City Council recently approved a contract in the amount of $3.4 million for Tempe-based Wilson Engineers to design an expansion to the Jomax Water Reclamation Facility, near Jomax Road and 123rd Avenue.

The facility was originally built in the early 2000s by the Vistancia Community Facilities District.
