Eloy officials want downtown cleaned up before advancing master plan

ELOY — Much work has been done in the downtown area, starting on Main Street with the facade improvement project and the renovation of the Police Department.

During Monday’s City Council meeting, Planning Manager Jerry Stabley approached the council about retaining an urban economics consultant to prepare a market analysis for the Downtown Master Plan.

The master plan is broken down into focus areas which includes Main Street, neighborhoods, commercial opportunities and a window to Interstate 10.
