Glendale eyes another big annexation

The Glendale City Council will hold a public hearing the planned annexation of the 260-acre Reems Ranch property at its upcoming August 25th meeting.

The property is located at on Reems Road and Northern Avenue north of Luke Air Force Base. It could be developed into as much as 3.9 million square feet of industrial and commercial space, according to city documents.

The land is currently unincorporated.

The Glendale Council is scheduled to formally vote on the annexation at its September 25th meeting.

Glendale has approved a number of annexations with new developments planned for those parcels.
