Nationwide asks Gilbert for more time at Rivulon

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Gilbert Town Council is being asked to give Nationwide Realty Partners more time to build out the 250-acre Rivulon commercial development.

The Gilbert Council will consider extending the timeline for Rivulon’s buildout from the end of August 2021 to the end of August 2024.

At full buildout, the development could total as much 3 million square feet of office space along with hotels and retail.

The town of Gilbert reimburses Nationwide for some of its infrastructure costs at the development as along as the developer abides by and meet benchmarks in a development deal. The extension is part of that development accord.

Rivulon is located at the Loop 202 and Gilbert Road.

The extension is on the Gilbert Town Council’s August 11th agenda.

Deloitte and Morgan Stanley already have office operations at the development and new luxury car dealerships have also opened there.
