Scottsdale mayoral race

Former Scottsdale City Council member David Ortega, who has been critical of development in Old Town, was narrowly leading in the city’s mayoral race, according to results early Wednesday. 

Lisa Borowsky, a Scottsdale lawyer and another former council member, moved into the second spot as election results continued to roll in late Tuesday. Bob Littlefield moved into third place, with Council member Virginia Korte right behind him in fourth. Council member Suzanne Klapp, who was endorsed by term-limited Mayor Jim Lane, was further back in last place.
