Arizona ranks at the 10th most diverse state in the country.

New research from WalletHub ranked U.S. states on their cultural, economic, racial and ethnic diversity.

Arizona, which has a sizable Latino population, ranks as the 10th most diverse.

California was first, followed by Texas.

New York is 5th, New Mexico 6th on the list.

West Virginia, Maine, and Vermont rank as the least diverse states in the U.S., according to WalletHub.

Arizona’s Hispanic communities and the state’s overall diversity could be focus points in the presidential election. Both President Donald Trump and Joe Biden are putting a focus on Arizona in the 2020 race.
