Casa Grande project gets accolades, award

A new recreation center in Casa Grande has been honored as the best government / public building project by Engineering News Record (ENR) Southwest.

The Casa Grande Community Recreation Center is among ENR’s Southwest’s 2020 Best Projects winners.

The center was built by Haydon Building Corp.

The facility totals 55,000 square features basketball and other sports courts, fitness facilities and spaces for meetings, birthday parties and other events.

Architekton designed the Casa Grande center.

The project is also up for overall project of the year award from ENR. That will be awarded in November.

It is also up for an award from the Arizona Masonry Council in October.

Haydon Building Corp. is based in Phoenix.
