Arizona has the 5th most COVID-19 restrictions, according to a new report.
Arizona ranks 47th among U.S. states when it comes to business and other restrictions because of the COVID-19 pandemic. That is according to research compiled by WalletHub.
Only Hawaii, California, Virginia and Massachusetts have more coronavirus mandates and restrictions.
South Dakota, Utah, Oklahoma and Iowa have the fewest restrictions.
Arizona ranks 48th for reopening businesses and 47th for reopening bars and restaurants, according to the report.
Arizona has 208,725 COVID-19 cases statewide and 5,322 deaths, according to the Arizona Department of Health. Maricopa County has 137,589 cases. That is third most among U.S. counties behind only Los Angeles County and Miami-Dade County, according to Johns Hopkins University.
