After a four-game road trip, Phoenix Rising FC is back at home this Friday for a match against Las Vegas Lights FC.
But this time, the Rising will be welcoming fans back to Casino Arizona Field for the first time since the USL Championship resumed play in July. The club will be the first professional sports team to host fans in Arizona since the COVID-19 pandemic effectively shut down the sports world in mid-March.
Only 1,000 fans will be allowed to attend Friday’s 7:30 p.m., match at Casino Arizona Field, which holds 6,200, team officials said.
