Scottsdale to vote on longer hours for medical marijuana dispensaries

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Scottsdale City Council is scheduled to vote Tuesday on allowing medical marijuana dispensaries to stay open longer.

The council will consider allowing dispensaries to stay open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The city currently limits their hours from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
There are four medical marijuana dispensaries and one cultivation facility in Scottsdale.

The longer hours proposal is in accordance with state laws on medical marijuana and would allow patients great accessibility, according to proposal documents.
