Brookfield Residential (Arizona), a leading land developer and homebuilder in North America, unveiled its highly anticipated Alamar master-planned community on Saturday, Oct. 10, in Avondale.
Due to the pandemic, the weekend-long event featured a drive-thru, radio-guided tour, allowing the more than 700 visitors to experience the 1,127-acre property and all of its amenities from the comfort of their own vehicles. Visitors followed a loop throughout the community’s homes, parks and Public Art Program featuring dynamic sculptures, pavement art and other museum-worthy installations that double as play spaces inspired by Alamar’s agrarian heritage and mountain-view setting. Visitors could also tour 11 model homes if they chose while practicing social distancing and local safety guidelines.
“The amount of thought and creativity that went into this event is truly amazing, from the festive, roadside entertainment to the meticulous nature of the visual tour,” Brookfield Residential Arizona Division President, John Bradley said. “And, the opening of Alamar couldn’t have come at a more critical time, considering the Valley has been struggling with record-low numbers of new-home inventory. This event was a breath of fresh air for Valley homebuyers, and we saw the evidence of that with how many homes we sold.”
