Arizona House Rep. Raquel Terán, husband test positive for COVID-19

Arizona House Representative Raquel Terán has tested positive for COVID-19, according to a statement released Saturday.

Terán’s husband, Eddie Barron, also tested positive. Both are quarantining with their son, whose test results have not yet come back, the statement said.

Terán, D-Phoenix, and Barron tested negative for COVID-19 on Monday and Thursday after visiting family members on Oct. 17 who later tested positive, according to the release. 

Barron began to feel symptoms on Friday and went to the emergency room where he tested positive for the virus. Terán tested positive Saturday morning but was not experiencing symptoms, the statement said.
