ASU, UA, NAU see decline in active COVID-19 cases as GCU cases rise

Recent updates showed a decline in new positive COVID-19 cases at Arizona State University, the University of Arizona and Northern Arizona University as of Monday.

Grand Canyon University reported an increase of 15 cases since its last update on Oct. 2, jumping from 24 cases to 39 in days.

NAU began reporting more robust data this week, including releasing for the first time its total number of cases and tests since Sept. 2, when it says it increased testing for students and employees.

Reports of confirmed COVID-19 cases amongst Arizona’s three state schools and Grand Canyon University show the current state of COVID-19 at these universities.
