Gilbert eyes new logo, branding campaign

The town of Gilbert is looking at a new logo and branding campaign.

The Gilbert Town Council will be presented and briefed on the logo and brand at its meeting Wednesday, Oct. 28.

The town’s Office of Digital Government started exploring a new logo and brand for Gilbert two years ago. The town has not had a new logo in more than 20 years, according to town officials.

“Our goal with this rebrand effort is to tell the community’s story in a more visually compelling way. And with the community celebrating 100 years, we find ourselves at a time when we are not only celebrating our past, but looking toward our bright future —making it the perfect time to look at our brand,” town officials said in a  memo to the council about the upcoming logo presentation and unveiling.

Gilbert has seen significant growth since its current logo launched including housing and population growth and a more diversified economy.

That includes the Heritage District area and its popular restaurants.
