New coffee bar proposed in Scottsdale

A new Black Rock Coffee Bar with a drive-thru is being proposed in Scottsdale at Shea Boulevard and 70th Street.

The proposed Black Rock would total 1,900 square feet at the existing 7 Thousand Shea Shopping Center.

The new coffee shop will replace an existing two-story structure at the same property. Oregon-based Black Rock Coffee has been growing its footprint in the Phoenix market.

Plans have been submitted with Scottsdale’s Design Review Board for site plan and landscaping plan approvals.
