Rock climbing gyms, Rocks and Ropes of Tucson, Inc. and the BLOC climbing+fitness+yoga, have reopened with assistance from HealthyVerify Certification.
HealthyVerify is the only independent medically based, scientific, and professional full-service certification company in the U.S. helping reduce the risk of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.
Scottsdale-based HealthyVerify helped Rocks and Ropes and the BLOC with their recent reopening’s through a set of best practices and protocols that go above and beyond U.S. Centers for Disease Control and other guidelines to curb the coronavirus.
HealthyVerify helped the Rocks and Ropes and the BLOC develop a reservation-only system for allowing visitors in the gyms. Employees and gym members go through symptom screenings. Masks and social distancing are required. Higher-risk areas where there can be less social distancing have been closed.
The gyms also have extensive offerings of hand sanitizers. Rocks and Ropes and the BLOC are also having climbers use liquid chalk rather than powdered chalk to help them climb. Liquid chalk has been shown to dramatically decrease the presence of the virus causing COVID-19.
HealthyVerify’s team includes medical experts from the Barrow Neurological Institute and researchers at Arizona State University. The HealthyVerify team certified those protocols giving customers, employees and others confidence that the very best health safety practices are being followed.
HealthyVerify has helped scores of businesses, workplaces, retail stores, events venues, school districts as well as sports teams and leagues develop best practices to abide by COVID-19 related mandates.
That includes youth sports leagues in the City of Goodyear, the Phoenix Rising FC soccer team, Mountainside Fitness, national real estate firm Offerpad, the Fowler Elementary School District and many others.
