Grand Canyon University can’t build residence halls fast enough to keep up with demand

As part of its $100 million capital expenditures planned for 2020, Grand Canyon University is building three more residence halls on its Phoenix campus.

Financed from the nonprofit Christian university’s cash reserves, the project will add three 6-story residence halls, each totaling 242,000 square feet with 600 single-occupancy sleeping units at each hall. Suites typically consist of four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a shared kitchen/living space.
