New apartments proposed in Chandler

The Chandler City Council will look at plans for a new 252-unit apartment complex at Elliot Road and Arizona Avenue.

The development is called Uptown Commons and is being proposed by Meyer Development and Construction Services Ltd.

The City of Chandler is being asked to rezone a 7.66-acre parcel for the apartments. The property is currently vacant.

The Chandler council will be presented with the apartment and zoning plans at its meeting Thursday, Nov. 5.
