SNL closes in on Election Day

For the second time this season, the “Saturday Night Live” cold open did not include Alec Baldwin as President Trump. But his presence haunted the sketch — literally, as Jim Carrey-as-Joe Biden told a Halloween horror story warning everyone that Trump could win reelection this week. 

If you didn’t know who was about to show up next … well, you have clearly never seen SNL. Hillary Clinton (Kate Mckinnon) and Sen Mitch McConnell (Beck Bennett) show up and Biden asked him what happened to his hands.
