Vistancia fuels growth in NW Peoria

Two-thirds of voters approved Plan Peoria AZ 2040, which appeared as proposition 445 on the Nov. 3 ballot.

This capped more than a year of planning, meetings, writing and rewriting by city of Peoria staff.

“We were very pleased with the outcome. This was our third time we had to put a general plan on the ballot. We’ve been very successful here and very fortunate to have a good relationship with our constituents,” said City Planning Director Chris Jacques.
