Phoenix seeks rezone to support huge semiconductor plant

The city of Phoenix is seeking to rezone a third site for a potential supplier to support the operations of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. Ltd., which bought a massive stretch of land in north Phoenix in early December.

The 75-acre site near Seventh Avenue and Pinnacle Peak Road is called “supplier site C” and is kitty-corner from a similar parcel dubbed “supplier site A,” which was submitted for rezoning earlier this year.
