Tempe-based general contractor Sundt Construction Inc. is launching a renewable energy subsidiary after acquiring select assets and personnel from i1 Energy, an engineering and construction company that specializes in renewable energy, especially solar and storage.
Tom Dodson, one of the three co-founders of i1 Energy, was named managing director for the new venture, called Sundt Renewables.
