Century Communities, No. 9 on the 2020 Builder 100 list, has announced that its namesake brand is entering the Phoenix metro area, with 1,400 homesites set to break ground this year. The home builder will be joining a number of existing new-home communities, including North Copper Canyon and The Trails at Maricopa.
“This is an exciting move for Century into one of the nation’s most sought-after metro areas,” says Liesel Cooper, president of Century Communities’ Western and Mountain regions. “With exceptional new homes, great community locations, and the addition of industry veteran Eric Montgomery—who brings over two decades of Arizona home building experience—to lead our new Phoenix division, we’re confident we’ll see substantial growth in this market for years to come.”
Century Communities has offered new homes in the Phoenix market for the past three years through the Century Complete brand. According to the company, the introduction of the Century Communities brand will “greatly diversify” its offerings in the fast-paced Phoenix market.
