The Gilbert Town Council is scheduled to vote on a development agreement with K. Hovnanian Homes for the 39-acre Santanilla community.
The development is slated to be built on Higley Road and 164th Street/Constellation Way in the East Valley.
Plans call for 71 homes at the Santanilla development.
K. Hovnanian is building a second access road to the subdivision.
The Gilbert council is being asked to share the costs of that project with the builder.
The development deal being proposed would reimburse K. Hovnanian as much as $60,000 for the secondary road project.
The item is on the council’s Feb. 2 agenda.
