Gilbert to give final approvals for residential development

The Town of Gilbert is considering giving final plat approvals for the first phase for the Waterston North residential development at Val Vista Drive and Ocotillo Road.

Plans for this phase call for 231 single family lots on 72.6 acres.

The property was rezoned for residential development lats year and is an extension of Maracay Homes’ Waterston development

Maracay Homes is looking to develop the Gilbert site.

Gilbert is a popular housing submarket but there are increasingly limited land options in the East Valley suburb.

The Gilbert Town Council will consider the final plat approvals at its meeting later today (Jan. 19).
