Glendale multifamily seeks second phase

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

A second phase of a new apartment development is being proposed in Glendale.

Palmaire Investments is looking to add a second phase to its Palmaire Living multifamily development between 43rd and 45th Avenue near Glendale Avenue.

The first 52-unit phase of Palmaire apartments has already been improved.

Now, Utah-based Palmaire Investments is asking Glendale to approve a second 42-unit phase of the development.

The second phase is slated for a 1.77-acre parcel that is currently zoned for general commercial uses.

The city of Glendale is being asked to rezone the parcel for high-density multifamily uses.

The parcel has previously been used as an RV storage lot.

Phase two plans will be considered by the Glendale Planning Commission at its meeting on Thursday, Jan. 7
