“Short-term rentals, short-term rentals and short-term rentals,” is the way one Paradise Valley Town Councilmember described their priorities for the 2021 legislative session.
Each year, Paradise Valley officials outline the priority of topics and issues they want the state representatives for Legislative District 28, which encompasses the town, to focus on. In past years, this has included traffic enforcement cameras and payback plans to the state’s public safety pension retirement system.
This year’s legislative agenda is led by the issue of short-term rentals — a problem so vast it landed Paradise Valley on the front page of the Wall Street Journal last month.
