Single-family, for-rent development proposed in Chandler

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Chandler City Council will consider rezoning 12.87 acres of undeveloped farmland for a planned single-family, for-rent subdivision.

The Elux at McQueen development is proposed for the southeast corner of McQueen Road and the Loop 202 freeway.

Snowdon McQueen LLC (Snowdon Partners) is proposing the development and is asking the undeveloped land be rezoned from an agriculture designation to a planned area development for multifamily residential designation.

The rezoning is on the Chandler council’s agenda for today’s meeting (Thursday, Jan. 28).

The proposed complex will have 162 units. They will be detached, single-family, for-rent units, according to documents filed with the City of Chandler.
