Eloy State of the City

ELOY — Things where a little different for Mayor Micah Powell in his first State of the City address on Tuesday evening.

Rather than having it at the usual chamber luncheon, Tuesday’s remarks were streamed live on Facebook as the city of Eloy and the rest of the world have adapted to a new normal since the COVID-19 pandemic hit.

Powell said that he has been pleased to see how well most of residents and businesses have cooperated with the social distancing recommendations and the city’s mask requirement.
