By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The Gilbert Town Council has approved a development agreement with K. Hovnanian Homes for roadway improvements at the 39-acre Santanilla community.

The residential development is slated to be built on Higley Road and 164th Street/Constellation Way in Gilbert.

Development plans call for 71 homes at the Santanilla development.

K. Hovnanian is also building a second access road to the subdivision.

The Gilbert council has approved an agreement to the costs of that project with the builder.

The development deal will reimburse K. Hovnanian as much as $60,000 for the secondary road project and improvements.
