Surprise residents can start using the park north of Countryside Elementary School, just south of the City Center, by the summer of 2022.
Surprise Parks and Recreation Director Donna Miller updated the department’s advisory commission in late January on the project that’s now being called Countryside Park.
The 8-acre park should be completed by July 2022, giving soccer, baseball, softball, flag football and players of other sports more options for practices, games and tournaments.
