Goodyear asked to rezone State Trust Land to PAD

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

The City of Goodyear is looking at a request to rezone 1,100 acres of State Trust Land.

The land is bounded by Indian School Road, McDowell Road, Perryville Road and Citrus Road.

Goodyear is being asked to rezone the land from an agriculture designation to a planned area development (PAD) designation.

The Goodyear Planning & Zoning Commission will consider the rezoning request at its meeting tonight (March 10).

The state land was annexed by Goodyear in 1982, according to city documents.
