GPEC to host ‘modern manufacturing’ event

The Greater Phoenix Economic Council will host a virtual event on March 17 on “modern manufacturing.”

The Zoom event will look at new and high-tech manufacturing sectors and will offer insight into the regional economy and perspectives from industry experts.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. with more information at GPEC.org.

The Phoenix region has been seeing some significant high-tech manufacturing growth with Lucid Motors and Nikola Motor Company’s new vehicle production plants in Pinal County and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s big new semiconductor plant in Phoenix.
