The newest version of the proposed code amendment to align building pad heights received a proverbial head nod from the Paradise Valley Town Council, although more work on the matter remains, officials agree.
The code amendment seeks to amend regulations on non-hillside lots within the Town of Paradise Valley to eliminate home foundations that disrupt the neighborhood — for example, by blocking views or creating drainage problems.
The issue was brought forward by residents voicing concerns about building pad heights, outdoor living spaces and landscape areas that block the picturesque Paradise Valley views.
