Phoenix Rising owners rumored to buy British soccer club

The owners of Phoenix Rising FC are rumored to be considering the acquisition of Ipswich Town Football Club, a British soccer team, according to several media reports.

Reports from the Athletic, the Guardian and others all say that Brett Johnson, one of the many people in the Rising ownership team, is heading the group, which also includes other Rising owners Berke Bakay and Mark Detmer, to buy Ipswich Town.
