Anthem officials object to MF developments

Some Anthem officials oppose two different single-family rental communities that would go up near the master-planned community.

According to the Anthem Community Council website, increased traffic and limited access for emergency personnel are among the reasons the leadership members are against the plans.

One of the planned communities — called Arise Arroyo Norte — is touted as “a luxury, single-family rental community” that would be built around a large park. The rental structures are shown as unattached rather than looking like traditional apartment complexes with a stacked design.
