KB Home set for 2 new Valley projects

KB Home has paid $9.2 million for 109 acres in the West Valley with plans to build more than 400 homes.

The Los Angeles-based homebuilder (NYSE: KBH) plans to build 293 homes on nearly 80 acres northwest corner of Apache Boulevard and Southern Avenue in Buckeye and another 133 homes on nearly 30 acres on the southwest corner of Elwood Street and 83rd Avenue in Phoenix, said Kevin McAndrews, president of KB Home’s Phoenix division.
